In oats processing, every operation must be implemented with the utmost care to ensure that the overall process will yield an optimal result. Cleaning and grading frees the grain completely from coarse impurities and sand, preparing it optimally for the dehulling process. Precise removal of the hull from the oat ensures that only top-quality groats are fed to the kiln. Hydrothermal treatment during kilning, size reduction during
groats cutting, and starch gelatinization during flaking will ultimately ensure that an outstanding end product is obtained.
