Depending on the end product, the DC Peeler either gently removes the germ from the grain, or, in the case of wholegrain flours, carefully cleans the grain while leaving it intact. The grain is then milled in a Bühler roller mill, where it passes through a sequence of finely fluted rollers set very close together. The fine-ground particles are sifted after each pass.
